Expo 2020 Dubai Saudi business group wants to open a project financing line for Angola

Exim Finance, a Saudi Arabian business group, with representation in Dubai, expressed interest in financing projects in Angola in the Agro-Food, Infrastructure, Health and Energy Sector, as well as the possibility of participating in the Investment Banking Sector.
This wish was expressed during a meeting that the group’s CEO, Salah Ibrahim Al Nasser, had this Monday morning (17.01.22) with the Ambassador of Angola to the United Arab Emirates, Albino Malungo.
Held at the Angola Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, the meeting served to analyze the possibility of Exim Finance settling in the country, at the same time transferring technology and know-how.
To Ambassador Albino Malungo, the chairman of the Executive Board of the group, Salah Ibrahim Al Nasser, said that the company operates in more than 40 countries and develops a total of 112 projects, valued at 5.8 billion dollars. In some African countries alone, it invests 1.8 billion dollars.
Its current financing portfolio is concentrated in the Alternative Energy and Sustainability Projects, Industrial Manufacturing, Automobiles/Machines, Health Projects, Real Estate and Construction sectors.
At the meeting, the Head of the Diplomatic Mission in the United Arab Emirates guaranteed to act as a facilitator for the implementation of the projects listed, creating rapprochement between the group’s leaders and Angolan businessmen, either through diplomatic channels or through a visit to Angola.
In addition to the Ambassador, the First Secretary of MD, Nelson Solano, and the Director of Communication and Business Lounge Manager of the Angola Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Nataniel Africano, participated in the meeting.
